Many women and men come from families - the children because of the harmony were committed - allegedly. As loud word was not covered. But where such silence is gaining ground, there is not automatically peace. This climate led to the rather quieter option. This often results in a great fear of controversy. Everybody should be happy especially without further notice. The insistence on harmony is often the result of the inability to fairly and constructively deal with issues.
Many couples try by silence to save ticklish situations. Permanent silence from the partners of each other, however. The buffer zones are more extensive, the contact areas smaller. Aggression jam up, and it comes at some point but the big bang.
