The
All Kids Count Quantitative
Indicator Survey was developed
by the national program office
to track the progress of the
16 AKC II grantee registries.
The Survey instrument, consisting
of seven indicators, measures
timeliness of populating registries
with birth and immunization
data, maturity of the database,
provider enrollment and participation,
and immunization coverage levels.
Registry projects may find this
Survey useful in measuring progress,
either in its current form,
or as a template for their own
surveys. For optimum
efficacy, the Survey should
be administered multiple times
over a period of no less than
two years, so that long-term
trends in registry operational
status may be observed and analyzed.
The AKC II grantees were surveyed
four times over the course of
the two-year grant period.
Immunization
registry projects may freely
use the All Kids Count Quantitative
Indicator Survey, adapting the
instrument as necessary. A PDF
version with sample response
data is provided for your convenience.
